EleQuant Inc. has successfully concluded Phase II of the SBIR project for NASA titled “Holomorphic Embedded Load Flow for Autonomous Spacecraft Power Systems”, in June 2017. This project consisted in the application of the Holomorphic Embedding Load Flow Method (HELM) to DC microgrids, in order to provide a deterministic load flow for various applications in the control of spacecraft power systems. This work lays the foundations for the development of fully autonomous power systems, something that is needed in future missions to Mars and beyond. More info at NASA link SBIR 14-2 S3.03-9774.
